Climax Racing,established by Chinese GT racer Zhou Bihuang at the end of 2019,is headquartered in Jiading,Shanghai.The founding team has years of experience in domestic and international racing and has a deep understanding of GT racing.The team's goal is to start from domestic events and participate in various races in Asia and even on the international stage.
After its establishment,Climax Racing actively participated in track testing activities,leaving its mark on the racetrack with high-intensity testing frequency.The team also took part in the CEC (China Endurance Championship),accumulating race experience using the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO.
In 2021,Climax Racing competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia using the new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992).This was the team's first appearance on the Asian racing scene,and claimed the first place in the first race. Climax Racing has also clinched the Team Overall Championship in the CEC 2021.
In 2022,Climax Racing actively participated in various competitions,winning the team championship in the GT Sprint Series.They also traveled to the Middle East at the end of the year to participate in the Asian Le Mans Series,learning advanced racing experience from European teams and bringing European techniques back to China to be applied in races.
In 2023,Climax Racing competed in the GT World Challenge Asia Cup,using two Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO cars to compete in the Pro-AM and AM categories.Despite numerous challenges,the team demonstrated Chinese speed and consistently made it to the podium,showcasing the strength of the Chinese team.
In 2023,CONSPIT collaborated with Climax Racing to provide professional simulator racing equipment for the drivers.This collaboration helps the drivers familiarize themselves with the tracks through professional racing simulators before heading to the race venue.It allows them to quickly find the right car setup during race weekends,laying the foundation for achieving good results.
